The pointelle fabric is so soft and stretchy that I actually slept in it the first night instead of changing into pajamas. The buttons open easily one-handed, which matters more than I expected when you're holding a newborn at 3 a.m. I've basically lived in this since bringing the baby home.

The buttons make nursing in the middle of the night so much easier, and the fabric is genuinely soft against sore skin. I do wish the hem were a touch longer for when I'm bending over, but it's been my go-to for those first few bleary weeks.
